Black Beauty?

    I found this neglected croton at an old obscure nursery. Sure looks like a "Black Beauty" to me.:rolleyes: What do you think? I'll wait until spring to plant it, but I'll give it a little TLC first.

    Great find Randy and good eye! :eek: That is definitely a Black Beauty. Curious, did they have more?

    Because I said "definitely", time for the nay sayers to start ... LOL :D

    Nah, it's the only one he had. I put it next to my other Beauty & it's the same;)

    So perhaps this cultivar was a step further from extinction than we originally thought.

    I was shown a "Black Beauty" in a Tampa Croton collectors garden at the time of the Moose find. So I would say that they are around, but rare.
