"Kiss and Tell" is quickly becoming one of my favorites!
Very nice,I have not heard this name before
It is a beautiful croton. Originally from the Richard Krukonis collection.
Wang me and Dang me! That is one hot looking croton. I recall Jeff showing me this one when visiting his home. Randy, to answer your question: Anyone Growing This One? - I gotta say with a pretty good certainty "not many". I think the few who have this one was through trading with Jeff. Since I don't have anything that Jeff does not have - I'm out of the loop for trading.
You are probably one of the few lucky ones to find it at his sale. He may only have one plant available every other year. Jeff - I think I remember you said this cultivar is not very fast. Is that correct?
Hmmmm, I wonder if this unknown cultivar could potentially be Kiss & Tell ?
Hmmm...the latter looks like a fine Caribbean Star.
Dang Ray - couldn't you have "humored" me and have said "in the Kiss & Tell complex ?
The shoulders on the leaves don't look quite Caribbean Star IMO.
I'm with Moose. His doesn't have the Caribbean Star shape.
I'm not sure that's a big enough distinction. There are a few leaves in Randy's photo with well defined shoulders and the veining is identical. Not all clones are created equally.
I wanna kiss and tell...so to speak.
