Without a name. Rocio maybe? But leaves are smaller than my Rocio.
Maybe just more sun than yours?
2.50 on left, Rocio on right.
Maybe my good feeding.
Let's see what the experts think lol. Mine gets filtered morning sun and has a lot more oranges.
And here is a Rocio like sport removed from my Mammey 2 yrs ago. Very pink in color.
Bren, My Rocio also is growing in morning sun filtered thru the pool cage.
looks like a Yellow Excurrens to me. I noted that a lot of the plants at my local Casa Depot have had much smaller leaves than usual.
Phil, Older color and round leaves are not right for Y. Excurrens, older leaves have a pink edge. Really looks like Rocio X Y. Excurrens. I wanted a few more Y. Excurrens for a colder area of my garden and Y.Excurrens would fit the bill. If it is Y.E I will go get more. Last pic of it with my Y.E. in back.
I went back a picked up a few more these 2.50s. All the yellow color will go to pink as the leaves age.
Has anyone seen the Croton being called Rocio Amarillo? It was listed last year as offshore cuttings for the wholesale growers. A little search of the Apopka, Fl growers list Rocio Amarillo as well as Rocio.
Here are pictures of leaves on the older plant stems.
