Unfortunately Jeff's lovely wife Suchin was not able to accompany us the day we were at their garden. All these photos were taken at the garden of Jeff and Suchin Marcus.

Hey.....it's me!
On a serious note, what an absolute pleasure being able to fly over to Hawaii recently to visit my son Travis, and then to top it off, fly to the big island and get to spend some good quality "palm time" at my good friend Jeff Marcus's garden and........to have good friends like Angela and Dean drive over for the day to join us. I really enjoyed my day with everyone, it was non-stop palm excitment well into the evening. I just wished I could of had more time and been able to spend some time at Dean and Angela's place over in Kona.
On with more pictures........there's thousands waiting......
Okay more pics... I was getting discouraged because after I upload them to Palmpedia they don't look as good as in my photo program (it has to do with my camera, the web, LCD monitor etc.)

Thanks for putting up the pictures. It's always good to see such happy palms. I almost feel bad for subjecting such noble creatures to my less than ideal central Florida climate. Almost but not quite enough to stop me from pushing the limits of palm growing! The photos are great! Thanks again -Justin
Zone 9b... And trying not to kill over one hundred fifty species of palms.
What???
No comments on the stellar human specimens also pictured?

Thanks for the great pictures Angela. And, of the human specimens as well.

Well, the human specimens were just OK. Remember, I was not in the pics.
Palms, on the other hand, FANTASTIC!
Jerry,
Maybe Angela should post the Full Monties??? Then you would change your tune.![]()

What is the palm in post #4?? Wow..I love it
Would it grow well in South FL? Do you have it available for sale?
Whats the palm in picture #3 on post 8? Is that the one everyone is calling Dypsis laffa?
Dean,
Beings this is an extreamly rare palm to have or see, and there are none here growing in south Florida, but I think you are correct.
