    Thumbs up Cold Damage

    So far all my palms appear to have passed our latest cold test. The Licuala grandis and 5 different species of Pritchardia seem OK. They are the palms that usually get stressed from low temps in my garden. Alot of cold damage does not appear until the Summer.

    My Ptychosperma waitianum on the west side is showing some minor signs of stress. The other at the west side of the property looks fine. The western palm had more exposure to the winds from the north.

    My Copernicia ekmanii looks to have gotten hit. Peach palm is yellow, but the center is very green. Areca Catechu is pretty much fine...
