Well I was lucky enough to go to heaven on earth for croton people yesterday.
Its amazing how well these crotons grow and look, blows you away no matter how many times you see the same plant!
The Glocks sure do know what they are doing!

So while taking a shortcut in the area I live in by North Bay Village, a croton caught my eye.
Turns out it is a Cronstadt, and there are three plants in the yard, all over 6 feet tall :)
I know its a shitty pic, but best I could do with the phone!
This has to be the absolute best looking Stoplight I have ever seen! huge leaves, amazing color!
This person also had quite the collection!!! lets see if you can figure out who it is!

Made some rounds yesterday and did some croton hunting, walked away with maybe 3 black garbage bags full :) about about a dozen new varieties, one possibly super rare :)
Are the Glocks using performance enhancing drugs on their crotons? you be the judge!

Has the croton society ever thought of selecting a single public garden that they would try to get as many plants in as possible? So these plants are kept and never lost?

Lets see your seedlings, heres two I have that seem to be robust growers so far, color remains to be seen.

Well I am seeing a little bit of cold damage here and there, its very obvious some varieties handle the cold well, and some dont!
First is Compte De Germini
Second is Sweet Marie
Third is J. Coppinger
fourth is Thanksgiving
I am looking to trade for some nice orange varieties and pinks that I dont have. anyone that wants to trade, just let me know what you have and I will be glad to tell you what I have available!
