    Last chance for plants!

We're moving out of Florida so this is your last chance to buy our plants. There are plenty of Crotons (see the thread about 7-gallons), trees, and aralias. Everything must go very quickly as we expect the house to be sold within the next couple of weeks (the market is HOT!) If you want to come...

    Selling 7-gallon Crotons now

I have around a dozen Crotons in 7-gallon cans that I would like to sell. I was hoping for an auction here to get more for them, but I need the space in my garden for other plants, so I'm offering them for sale now. I doubt I'll sell them for less than $40 each, as these are landscape quality...

    Thea's Daughter

This is a seedling that grew up in front of my first Thea, a gift from David McLean. I'm going to airlayer the top third of it in time for the April auction.

    Spring Auction in Boca Raton

Randy and I have amassed way too many plants and we need to trim our inventory. Plus it's been a long time since many of you were here. So, we're thinking about a Spring Croton Auction/Sale here in Boca Raton on Saturday, April 8, 2017. Lunch will be served - Jamaican style: jerk chicken (not...

    Looking for pots

Anyone have some spare 1s and 7s they don't need? I need 1s for the mistbed and I have a bunch of trees in 3-gallon cans that need to move up to 7s. Thanks.

OT - Anyone want a FREE 12' Norfolk Island Pine?

For years we've been giving our live Christmas tree - a Norfolk Island Pine - to friends in Jupiter Farms. Unfortunately, they are now out of room and don't want any more of them. So we have a 12 foot, multi-trunked tree in a 15-gallon can that needs a home. If you have room for this beauty and...

    Unknown Croton from David McLean

David gave this Croton to Randy who gave it to me to plant in my garden. Can anyone verify a name for it? If not, I have one in mind.

    David McLean has passed away

Few people will ever possess the wonderful teaching ability and sparkling personality David McLean brought to his classes. I was lucky to have gone through his entire program at BCC and even luckier to have worked for him for several years, on and off. His passing is a great loss for the...

    Swap-A-Que - Saturday, March 22nd

What's a Swap-A-Que, you ask? Kinda like a barbecue, except we also swap plants. The barbecue part is my treat as host. I'll supply the meat, you bring the sides and drinks. There will be pulled pork and sliced beef brisket, along with my award-winning barbecue sauce. The swapping part is...

    Could this be Rosie O'Grady???

In the ground over 12 years from a 3-gallon of unknown origin. The first two are the plant in deep shade. The second two are of a two or three year old cutting from the original plant. In looking at The Book, this strongly resembles the photo on page 54.
