    Last chance for plants!

We're moving out of Florida so this is your last chance to buy our plants. There are plenty of Crotons (see the thread about 7-gallons), trees, and aralias. Everything must go very quickly as we expect the house to be sold within the next couple of weeks (the market is HOT!) If you want to come...

    Plant Sale

Jose - I have two very large Yellow Bird Crotons if you still want them. We're moving out of Florida and everything in the garden that's not sold will go to whoever buys the house.

    Selling 7-gallon Crotons now

I have around a dozen Crotons in 7-gallon cans that I would like to sell. I was hoping for an auction here to get more for them, but I need the space in my garden for other plants, so I'm offering them for sale now. I doubt I'll sell them for less than $40 each, as these are landscape quality...

    Spring Auction in Boca Raton

Here's a better idea. How about the group comes up with a date in May or June that works for the majority and I'll see if it works for me? We have no summer travel plans, so most weekends are fine.

    Spring Auction in Boca Raton

Just found out that there's a huge palm sale at the Mounts on the same day. With everyone who can't come, there's no sense to having this. I'm in Jamaica the next two weekends and have company the weekend after that. So now we're into May. Perhaps someone else can put a Croton auction together...

    Leaf Dropping

In addition to everything else that's been said, keep in mind that Crotons want to grow into small trees, thus the dropping of lower leaves and the growth of a main trunk is common.

I like Tickled Pink better than Boca Pink. That's what I'm going to call mine.

    Wiki photo entries 2017

"Boca Pink" - this variety has been around for a while and there's no entry in the Wiki for it. Currently being grown by several large nurseries in our area. I've personally sold 3 or 4 at auctions and I'm told it's not that rare a variety.

    Tomorrow

Love the dry stream with the bridge. Nice job.

    Leaf drop

It's too dry. Irrigation keeps things alive, rain makes them grow. Without rain, Crotons drop leaves like dandruff.

    Where are the photos?

Boca Pink Unknown - 3 pictures. Notice the shoulder, usually just on one side. Brilliant orange color. Blotched Edwin T Meredith - in much less sun than the other plant. Another Unknown. Nice pink color. This one gets very little sun.

From the left: Mrs. Iceton, Miami with Eleanor Roosevelt underneath, Yellow Bird: Yellow Bird: Bravo, mostly pink it gets very little sun: Super Petra, a gift from David McLean that he gave me in a 1-gallon can. He could never get it to grow. I guess you just have to pee on them once...
