    Croton ID Needed Please

I picked up this little gem today. My limited identification capabilities know that it is not as it was labeled (Mammy). The pics do not do the croton justice. There are far more orange colors that resonate prior to the oldest leaves turning a vibrant red splotch. Appreciate any help ~ Rich

    Air Layering Question

Having (hopefully) pulled off my first successful air layer a month or two ago - I am emboldened to ramp up such efforts when the spring warmth returns. A couple of questions popped into my noggin' while planning.... * Is there such a thing as too thick or too thin a branch to attempt...

Exotic Angel plant name cross reference?

I picked up some interesting looking little crotons yesterday that needed some TLC. They were both exotic angel plants. One was called "Luna" on its tag. This one looked like a Mammy with an interrupted leaf. I checked the WIKI and since this name was not listed - I am guessing that Luna is...

To Buy or Not To Buy - Magnificent - that is...

Big box in the area sporting some nice 3 gallon cultivars. Beyond those that I have seen in neighbors yards - Magnificent stood out among the crowd. How common are these on a "Petra" commonplace to ________ only in the wildest collectors dreams? Any input on the cultivars ability to come...

Picked these up from a local big box. The first is labeled as "mammy" - which I'm quite sure is incorrect based on the leaf shape?

    Rookie needing ID's please

These were grouped in with a common cordyline or two in a general foilage planter from a big box. The next post will contain an identical purchase at the same time - but with what I believe to be a different species?
