Here is a 'Kiwi' Ti purchase made early this summer. The plant looked different enough for me to grab one from the many on the bench. Color markings and leaf size (9"x2") do not compare to the many 'Kiwi' (leaf size 13"x2.5") I already had. The plant has grown well over the last couple of months but still has maintained the different look. The plant has branched along the stem without topping the growing point. I know 'Kiwi' is big in the tissue culture word, but can it change the looks?

Dean, Looks as Ti sports are possible in tissue culture. 'Katryn' (photo) is a TC sport from 'Kiwi' and a few listed as TC sports from 'Miss Andrea' .

It looks very close to the 'Harlequin' named plant more than 'Kiwi' Lets see what happens in the winter months.

This looks like the Kiwi type that is often offered on the mainland which is derived from tissue culture. It is not as beautiful as the one you can get from Hawaiian cuttings as it has a greatly reduced coloring as far as the red streaking goes.
