#2 In the picture it looks like Mrs Iceton. But quite different variety – its leaves can reach up to 45cm long

Sergay,
Chandra was visiting our garden in Miami today and I mentioned your pictures on the forum. He asked that I send you his regards. He was also talking about the huge size of croton leaves in Indonesia.

Today - the last portion of Indonesian photos. Thank you for your patience! It was a real pleasure to share my impressions with you!

#1 - I think it’s “Bush on Fire” or “Batik” but in Indonesia it’s called “Chilli Pepper”
What is the origin of this variety? What was the first name?

#2 The variety with small narrow leaves. In Dr. Frank Brown’s Book this variety has an id as “Philippinensis” p.117 and “Twist & Pont” p.130 – what is the correct name for this plant?

My last day in Indonesia I spent walking along “flowers” street in BSD. Two rows of garden shops, several kilometers long… and only common widespread crotons.

The second photo in post #72 is Anthurium 'Marie". My husband created the hybrid and named it after me. It has been very popular throughout Thailand and Indonesia as well as the US. When Chandra visited, he said to me that everyone in Indonesia knows my name.

Last night I was on the phone with someone talking about Red Dragon. Did anyone ever import it?

BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL AND BEAUTIFUL ! The size of the crotons are incredible...many thx for placing the fotos in the FORUM. Looking forward to more pix :D .
