    Palm/Plant Art T-Shirts & Merchandise (Online Store)

Dean, This is great! Can you print the design on the back instead of the front? I don't need any more attention on the front! And how about a scoop neck tee for women? Or a button front shirt?

    A Perfect Eucalyptus deglupta

I would love to plant one of these monsters but my garden isn't large enough. I can't put it anywhere 200 feet from my house. They do blow down in hurricanes. Our local botanic garden lost theirs in a hurrice a few years ago. If you plant them in a wet spot, you can almost watch them grow...

Awesome pictures! The Amazon basin is truly one of the wonders of the world. I love this webpage idea, Dean! And, Don, keep the wonderful pictures and comments coming. You have the start of a book.

    A very big thank you

Dean, I will defintely include the link to the diseases presentation to everyone. You have some really great presentations on the Wiki site. More people should view them. I think I will include a blurb about them in our next newsletter. Thanks again for all your help.

    A very big thank you

To Jeff Marcus and Dean Ouer from the Palm Beach Palm and Cycad Society: We viewed the first part of the Madagascar presentation last night as our program. It was a tremendous hit! The second part will be next month's program. Thanks to Jeff for sharing his trip and to Dean for all the...

    Latin Pronunciation

Dean, I had 4 years of Latin in high school and still remember a lot of it. It helps me every day. My pronunciation is good and I have a pleasant voice - I was an overseas operator for about 5 years. I think this is a noble effort and will be happy to help in any way I can.

Aroid Extravaganza --- On the rare side

Wow! Great shots of some of my favorite eye candy! I think aroids scream tropical, even more so than palms. Thanks for the great shots.

    Alocasia zebrina

Matty, Lovely plant! I don't have that one. I was able to grow A. gigantea from seed. I think that is the right species. It is easy. Almost 100% germination.

    Tree Ferns in the landscape

Nice photos, Wal! I really like tree ferns. I noticed you have them in a pretty sunny location. I would like to have a couple in my garden. I can only imagine how many orchids I could put on one! Does anyone living here in South Florida know if they will do well here? And if it makes a...

The Propagation of an Anthocleista grandiflora

Dean, Thanks for the info. That means I could plant more than 1 - like 2 or 3.:) Now all I have to do is find one or 2 - before Jeff does!

The Propagation of an Anthocleista grandiflora

I want one as well. I have the room. Of course, if I keep planting these giant trees I won't have any room or sun in my yard! But that means no grass, right? More big trees!
