    Ti-update :P one I found in a hardware store/garden center close to work: any idea which one it is? here's one I've had at the office but brought home recently (one of the Hawaiians): I think it's lemon lime

    Oh yes, I'm crazy about them. Growth wise - I'm not doing anything special, they just seem to be very robust. Apparently most of the pests I have on my hibiscus plants avoid the ti's, which helps a lot.. Ah and the (I think) lemon lime plant is at my office, at first I thought it was a second...

    Here's an update on the Ti-logs that miraculously arrived at my home almost a year ago. Of the eight logs I got, seven made it and are still alive This one I got from the local garden center - first time I saw Ti's there. I have no idea which one it is, maybe someone here can make a guess?

    There are so so many nice plants there its unbelievable... the side strips of the highways are full with oleander and hibiscus, it's growing like weed there @Dean - thanks a lot for the information, that's really cool!!! I hope some of the seeds will grow...:jiggy:

    I've discoverd tiny tiny buds on two Acapulco Gold x Bayou Irene seedlings (one of them was already dropped again ... duh..) And I've been seeing huge holes in my seedlings leaves (they have never been outdoors) - this weekend while showering them I finally discovered the reason - a huge fat...

    funny thing about funky foliage hibiscus - they change leaf-shape depending on whether they are just growing (funky leaves) or blooming (=> normal leaves). I'm reposting my funky seedling here to follow up, the leaves have changed to normal now that it's blooming

    I was just on vacation in Sicily and Liparian Islands and brought home some souvenirs... The seeds in the lower part are phoenix dactylifera, phoenix canariensis, trachycarpus fortunei (at leas I hope so..) and chrysalidocarpus however I don't know about the seeds in the upper part, I'll post...

    hey I completely failed loading the pictures of the other two, I'll retry. thing got stuck last time... :-\ here's Climax x Tamibon #3, the second one that bloomed and here the last one - its podmate, bigger Climax x Tamibon #2: oops.. I have no idea why somethimes the thumbnail thing works...

    Seedling alarm!!!!! after a long dry period I've had three seedlings blooming within a couple of days (two of them while my parents were visiting - yey - jealous mom!) Here's number one - planted last year. The cross is Casa Grande Lavender (funky foliage-european) x Ice Fairy (HVH):
