Thomas Edison Croton - The Cultivar and its History

The story as I have heard it, is it was a seedling from a batch given to Bob Halgrim by Henry Coppinger. Halgrim recognized it as something special and gave it its name. On the East Coast, the big Hollywood plant is the only one I've ever found, or know of anybody finding. Bender had a small...

    Coppinger's coral shower

Marie, try your pics again, it should be easy to I'D from a pic. Bender had coral shower, that's where I got mine. I never found it growing anywhere. I don't think he had the Coppinger one. Coppinger's coral shower

We're talking about three different plants here. That Halloween looks very similar to the plant on the cover of the croton book which I have drooled over for years. I screenshotted the eyewall on the radar on my phone, way too close. What's a cat 4 like? Watch hurricane charley destroy a gas station in Punta Gorda in...

COSTA RICA CROTON WANDERINGS - GLORIOSA SUPERBA

Corot and inca are distinct, easily identifiable plants, not really close to what you have here. The problem with excellent and gloriosa superba, is that they are trade names, and could have been conjured up out of thin air at anytime by someone making a pricelist.

Think about it. The old guys we think about, bachman, etc., only had a few really good ones each. George might end up doing more than that
