    Adenium obesum - Desert Rose

    The Huntington has several Adeniums growing outdoors in their gardens with temps getting down into the mid 20s every once in a while... all still alive, though none are obesum. Have seen obesums growing nicely outdoors in full, hot sun in some So California areas where temps never go below...

    from personal experience, the cold ranges for Deuterocohnia are WAY off... I live in inland California where I can easily grow most Deuterocohnias outdoors totally exposed and most have not been cold damaged despite being snowed upon or having temps drop into the high teens multiple times...
