What a nice exchange from some well known Croton Veterans and the pix are great. Many thanks, I always pick-up some valuable hints from these discussions.:)
Mr. Jeff Searle… many thanks for chiming in with your observations that have been duly noted in my Croton Photo Files and for now, will be named Eburneum aka Tamara. This thread has created some very interesting comments/attention and I have benefitted “oodles & gobbles” from it. Many thanks to...
Thanks Marie and Hello VeroKarl... many thanks for noting your experiences and posting your fotos for all to appreciate and hopefully contribute to the discussion. Here's looking forward to some of the "Croton Masters" out there weighing-in adding their observations and/or tips :).
Thanks Marie,
Tamara it shall be... perhaps "in person" I could better see the difference. Comparing the two in the WIKI MASTER NAME LIST FOTOS they look almost identical to me :(. Robertico
I found these two beauties in a local nursery but I’m not sure what I’ve got… Eburneum (Madagascar), Tamara, Lucha or something else?
I have compared them with WIKI MASTER NAME LIST FOTOS but I cannot for the life of me, definitely I.D. them. Perhaps I can eliminate Lucha? What hints can anyone...
Hi Pix,
Thx for your answer-back…

Photo # 02: My air-layer as of today
As to your question... “Is it too late to take an air layer now?” I would refer this query to your local Florida Croton Enthusiasts on this Forum that have more experience with...

P.S. Anyone else that would like to name this NOID for me… please chime in...
Hi Anna… I thoroughly enjoy all of your fotos, please keep posting. In my opinion you certainly have improved your gardening and photography skills by leaps and bounds! Keep up your excellent work as well as the encouragement and enthusiasm you instill in everyone that follows this web site. :)
WOW… I’m completely overwhelmed by these new introductions. I thoroughly enjoyed all of these photos and can only imagine Mr. Zammas’ mixed feelings and joy in finally getting these out so that the membership could also appreciate them. Likewise, credit to Tim (KWTIMO) for his photographic...
Folks… please bear with me on this episode where I tried to have some “artistic” fun. I found this nice back yard Croton container garden and with the owner’s permission I took some liberties with photo # 49 by arranging the cultivars in a circular pattern around a Philodendron.
After...
Hi Marie, thanks for your I.D. RE: Recurvifolium and the confirmation of Green and Gold that I submitted… Anna, I’m attaching an improved pic of photo #4 in a vertical format where you can get a better overall view of the plant and the evolution of its leaves also, thx for confirming Green and...
Images 01-02-03 & 04: I can’t find this recurved leaf Croton in the WIKI NAME AND IMAGE LIST… to me, this cultivar very much resembles Volutum aka Rams Horn except its coloration and the leaves do not manifest small scoops.
The ones I have run into here in Costa Rica have reddish-orange colored...
