    Licuala dasyantha

Re: Licuala radula About time this was corrected . Licuala dasyantha is reported to grow approx 2m . Does this mean it is acaulescent ? Or does it get a little stumpy trunk and just get a larger clump ?

    Dypsis faneva

I recently collected seeds of this species from a plant growing locally . Called Clayton to verify info and he informed me it is actually Dypsis paludosa . And this correction was discussed on the palmtalk forum after John Dransfield visited Hawaii .

    Philodendron gigas

Been back to Equatorial Exotics a few times over the last few weeks , and managed to get some better pictures of this Philo . Cant wait until the seedlings are released . Notice the ladder leaning up under the Philo , maybe there are more seeds coming . Think the host is a giant Cuban Royal .

    Alocasia zebrina

Well done Matt , I have grown Alocasias from seed a few times . It is not common to get seeds , especially out of the tropics , so many people never see seed . Unless they go out of the way to pollinate their plants .

    Propagation of philodendron xanadu?

I divided several offsets from large clumps in 8" pots .. It was a bit dificult , I had to hose of all media and untangle the roots to pull clumps apart . Tip cuttings can be taken of this cultivar , as long as you have 3 roots above the cut .. And this is an Australian cultivar , despite what...

    Philodendron gigas

Very poor lighting , but you get an idea of the habit .. 6.30 pm and the sun was just starting to go down .. I will be going back soon a nd will try and get a better pic. along with some plants for myself . This does not seem to match the pic of Tom Croat and leaf on MoBoT .

    The Lowland Ficus dammaropsis
