I see Angel Orchid flower as a Flying Albino grasshopper. The Egret looks much more like a raptor. Alien Orchid I think is because of the resemblance to those Muppet aliens that would say,yup,yup,yup.
To each his own-ha..
 
To be more accurate? Flying Albino Grasshoppers wearing white Hoodies.
 
Wow! Really amazing stuff. Interesting how many of these blooms come from orchids. I'll be looking at this thread a few more times, and see what I might be able to obtain and grow in my garden. We have a Dove orchid in the ground at the Audubon House. It was in full bloom a couple of months ago, but somehow, the plant seems to get overlooked by most people.
