Hi guys! I am new. How do you trade your stuff? I have 16 different varieties of crotons and I can trade any of them. I bought all of them in Big Boxes and Nurseries, so I can by more if I want. I loved only Petra when I first came in… Next I decided to buy all of them when we bought a house. I thought there were a half of dozen of them. When I found (and bought) 10, I knew that I am going crazy!
Since I google everything, I came across this forum.
And you know what? I found that I am far away from being crazy! :)

Hi Pix, and welcome to the croton forum! First name? Were kind of a small group, but very dedicated and to the love of crotons. Where's your garden? Any pictures?

Jeff

Hi Pix,welcome to forum,if you live in Florida Jeff has a great croton sale twice a year and we also do 2 croton meetings yearly and we have trading and croton auctions at these meetings.

Hi guys,
Thank you for talking to me. New forum doesn’t show the location yet but I’ve been reading it for a while before I joined. I do live in Florida. I know that most of you are in South Florida. I am already in love with Scott (he doesn’t know yet :) since according to the Google maps he lives 23 minutes from me; and he has a beautiful garden and a lot of experience to tell me what doesn’t freeze here :). I will probably never make it to the Jeff’s sale (as I said I am not that crazy yet:) but if someone from my area is crazy enough to go I would love to pass my orders :). As for the meetings… You never know. Anyone can catch the virus that can slowly turn them to the monster (sci fi). I’ve never gardened before!

Amended and re-stated wish list. Its getting smaller. :D

Ray I put another Juliette Delarue in my mist house today, you might want to invest in a car seat for the rug rat. Opps I miss spoke your lovely young child. Just my poor attempt at funny. I have found an old Padgett that produces one or two every year.

Mark, I just potted up an air layer of the thin leaf form of Pride of Winter Haven two days ago. Its in the green house right now. I can put your name on it and send it Key West way via Tim eventually.

WOW!!! That'd just be great Ron, Thanks so much.... about a year or so I got some cuttings of Joannis, and have really enjoy growing it. Do they all have a lot on interupted leaves? Mine sure does, in fact after your broken finger thread, was going to git some pics posted.... But as I was saying, really have been enjoying the long thin leaves, like Zanzibar adds a nice contrast. Glad you're back on line. Mark
