I bought this croton from a small plant place close by. I've been researching what it is for a while now. I've seen so many options that I'm not sure. I was thinking maybe Eleanor Roosevelt but I haven't seen any color come out yet. I'm pretty sure it wasn't getting enough sun because the owner didn't know much about them from our conversation.

After walking out and looking at my Punctatum and E. Roosevelt, leaves look to large for Punctatum (left) E. Roosevelt (right). E.R. leaves are 13.5" long with a hint of pink on the older leaf underside. IMG_2202.jpg

The leaves are 1/4-1/2 inch wide & 10 inches long at this time. No pink on the undersides though. Possible that it could develop some pinkish hue though because at the stem of each leaf it looks like it wants to develop some color but maybe not coming out yet in the leaves.

It would be great if I could find a Franklin then maybe I'd have a husband & wife!!! I went & studied it very well & didn't see any pink on any leaves at all only on the stems.
