Great looking plants. Photo #8 of the last post is White Bravo not Diane.

i did not know that . The plant that i took the airlayer from is about 50 years old or older . It is growing on the north side of my house , I saw a picture from 1965 from my house im at now and it was 3 ft tall then . It is rather massive maybe 6 ft tall but probably 10ft across .ill try to post picture . i was told it was diane . ill have to measure the leaves too .I DI 5 AIR LAYERS all came out looking different . Thanks for info .David

Good looking, healthy plants! But your Tiger Eye is not and not too sure on Pop's Yard. Did you get that plant from me? Not sure with all the spotting on the new leaf.

The pops yard is one of the ones i got at your sale in March. Just recently it has been getting a lot more spots it almost looks identicle to my Helen Edge on the top half . but not exactly the same !!!! The Helen Edge is really loading up with the spots . Dont know why , ill try to get pictures with them together . Back in March it didnt have hardly any spots . Go figure .

#1 Pops Yard in as it appears now in July ,# 2 when i replanted to 5 gal after it sat under the trees for a couple weeks march . It is definately getting more spots over the last 3 months

In post #7, those are very nice or typical of Pop's Yard. Your plants look very nice!

Jeff - I have two Pop's Yard from you. My original Pop's Yard ended up in heavy shade as the flora and fauna around it developed. Under these conditions, I have observed Pop's Yard get simular spotting like Mr. King's croton. :D

Here are my two Pops Yard. The first one gets heavier sun exposure but is shaded most of the day. The second is in heavy shade and only gets kissed by the early morning sun. I suspect that both these crotons were from the same mother plant.

Its amazing how different sun exposure can affect the coloring on a plant.

Its wild how one plant can look so different from the other by changing the amounts of light , and by what time of the day they get that light ......Especially with the 2 pictures you just showed . Thanks

Christmas with its colorfull pink leaves . 14 inches long 7 inches wide

Very nice Stoplight David, brilliant colors. The plant that Ray has ID'd as White Bravo has really cauht my eye. I keep coming back to this thread to see it again & again. How fast is it? How big is it? Can it support an air layer?

This is what I have got going as White Bravo, from Mike (Bullwinkle). This plant is very slow. :(

I like your plant's color way better

Really old possibly 50 years , ive seen a picture of it from the 60s It was 3 ft then , it has geen areas , yellow areas , white areas , The whole plant is different . Id like trade some with you ......

Now that's what I'm talking about! That plant is just stunning with all the colors and gynormous leaves. The rains certainly have helped, right? Thanks for sharing and was nice seeing you at the nursery sale this past weekend.

It sure is a good feeling to see the plants change week to week !!!!! I wish i had more time at your sale . i had to grab and dash to get back to work by 11;30 , i would drive the 240 miles every weekend >>>>>> thanks Jeff

David, it was great to meet you at the sale. Love your posts. Your Father's Day is gorgeous. I had my eyes open for one at the sale, even though it wasn't on the list. Maybe next time. How long have you had yours? Incredible colors!:)

It was great to meet you too ,that was quite the wagon of plants yall had . I have 2 of them , they are both about 5 years old , for me they are not a fast grower , but each year they are getting much more colorfull

Helen Edge can give you a lot of different looks...for years I drove by the "discovery" thinking it was a Petra, but one year it looked very different, so I collected it. The rest is history....
