First is Ortegas Hybrid. Followed by Spirale and then a rare unknown from B. Frank Brown's garden. Any suggestion of a known name?

That thrid ofne resembles one I got a few years ago as a pink Mona Lisa (or some such name) and that it was from Oz. Unfortunately, it's been a dog with very slow growth and little pink in the leaves.

A new, un-named, the next is unknown and the third is a Ben Alexander.

Phil,
Mine has been a slow grower and I only got the plant approx. one year ago. It's finally coming into nice color, but so far, only this burnt orange, no pinks. By this summer, it show show exactly what colors it will have.

Jeff I gotta say it's real nice to see some of your fine crotons posted here!
BTW anytime you have extra seeds that you don't want I'll be glad to sprout em for you....

Peyton,

Thanks. I just wish I knew more about taking better pictures and then posting them. But, the croton in question is not a sport of Mrs Iceton, for one the leaves ar much bigger, and the color is a deep orange, not so much a red/orange.

The first one is Goldfinger. And up until recently, I never knew the name on it. But thanks to Ray, when he saw it this past summer, he put the name w/ the plant. Thanks Ray!

The second one is Thea. But if you look closer, you'll see a nice very unusual boltched sport that has emerged. I wish the picture was more clearer.

I'm not a real big fan on the green and yellow leaves, but this first one is very pretty in my eyes. It's Eleanor Fisher. The second is Madame Fernand Kohl, which has one of the biggest leaves of all crotons and also flowers readily and produces lots of seeds. The last one is Royal Flush. Sent to me a few years ago and identified as Royal Flush by Bob A.

Prince of Orange is the baby's momma to Cherry Pop, the daddy is not remembered. Cherry Pop was Chris Mayhews (pocomo) first seedling he crossed worth keeping. Its leaves get dark with bright red spotting that looks like cherry bubbles.
