Terrible weekend weather :(

I havent seen a weekend like this for a long time.The weather finally just cleared up.It has been 2 days of driving rains and gale winds.My friends nursery lost most of the shade cloth last night.Truly miserable

Yesterday was windy and the rains moved in late in the day. Today a light rain (total 1.8") all day with no wind. We needed the rain up this way.

The rain definitely had its benefits. My Mona Lisa has all three "heads" budding new leaves. They only have produced new leaves once this year, one at a time. Anytime I get some new leaves on the Mona Lisa it is a celebration. This cultivar is frustratingly slow for me.
