Watch out for those falling Royal fronds,my Bravo gets decapitated 2-3 times a year If it were a little rarer I would have already moved it.

Got two bags of Bravo cuttings (or crushings) rooting thanks to that royal palm. It too gets whacked regularly by falling fronds.

Phil - I am sure that the bees hit that inflorescence a couple of days later. Are your crotons now covered with the falling royal palm flowers?

I have tried not to plant under my royal palm. You have changed my mind Phil. I will just plant some duplicates from air layers next year and just deal with the fronds. They will just wack the plants but probably not kill any.

Lots of dead flowers to be followed by seed and then sprouted seed and seedlings.... Easier to move crotons than royal palms.
