had a light dusting of palm snow when a royal palm spath opened lsst night

Watch out for those falling Royal fronds,my Bravo gets decapitated 2-3 times a year :( If it were a little rarer I would have already moved it.
 
Phil - I am sure that the bees hit that inflorescence a couple of days later. Are your crotons now covered with the falling royal palm flowers? :confused:

I have tried not to plant under my royal palm. You have changed my mind Phil. I will just plant some duplicates from air layers next year and just deal with the fronds. They will just wack the plants but probably not kill any.
