One of my favorite seedlings, changing for the worse as far as I'm concerned. A really pretty red and sporting to yellow. Started with half a leaf yellow after it's first bloom and now whole leaves have changed. Hope it's just temporary. I suppose I could top it and have a sport and maybe it would revert back from there. It's the only piece and I have air layers on it. Waiting to see what happens.

I agree that the change is worrisome.I preferred the original red.Mybe someone with more experience could advise you on what to do.I would probably cut it and see what happens.

Chris,

Are you certain/sure that what you see are not just some newer leaves that will color up as they mature?

If not, bring that ugly plant over and I'll give it a new home. I know you would never want to keep something like that!

The newest leaf petioles have lost their red color and are now yellow, if that says anything. Chris

Ron...It's still my favorite (I think). Getting its color back. I think the color change happened when I air layered it. I now have 3 of them. I'll post a pic when I get around to it.

This is it Ron. Unnamed but still my favorite. I think it will be fine.

Maybe I should start a new thread but I like Aurora for this one. Tentatively anyway. Chris
