Besides all the great color like you said, I'm just amazed on how nice your collection has become. You have some incredible varieties there.

Just clean up your spelling.....:)

Borgy230...Very, very nice. Not only is your collection beautiful but you took the time to name them. Your presentation is a "keeper" and I plan to place it my Croton files for future reference...I have a hard time with I.D's !

First two pics are of a Carmen Christian from the Edison Estate in 2001; it is a slow plant since the second pic is the one and only air layer from it.
Next two are Capt Kidd from Croton Society sale a year or two ago. Plant needs more sun. ...and not to be confused with a FDR look-alike but with smaller dots previously known as Capt Kidd.

Philip Geduldig. Got this from Ricky as a rooted cutting at last year's international croton society meeting which he hosted. I planted in June and has really jumped. I probably left it in the one gallon container too long. :p

Here is my Philip Geduldig now. What happened to it? Here in pic 2 is it last fall. To much sun? Or did the cold last Winter change it?

Whatever pic 1 is, Scott, it isn't Philip Geduldig. Let me post some pics later. ..and not too sure what 2nd pic is. OK, here's some pics of Philip Geduldig taken tonight. First 3 are of same plant in moderate sun; last pic is one in light shade in 5 gal pot.
The ID as PG was by an old Dutchman at a Croton Sale; he also noted that Geduldig means either lucky or unlucky in Dutch.

I'll take some pics of what may be Heaven tomorrow when it's light out.

Ron/Phil, I went back to the thread for ID I did on this plant last Dec. I stated in the thread that there were 4 plants in the pot with one looking diffrent. I went out to check that the other plant was not the lone survivor of the group. But the Winter casualty was the diffrent plant and there were 3 survivors that had been IDd as PG in the Dec thread. So what could change the looks so drastic?

Rafael has recovered very nicely since getting crushed by the sheared royal palm fronds. He was transplanted to avoid another such event. :)

Rob - you made me go look at my Coral Showers. It has really brought out some brillant orange coloring like yours. I don't remember is getting this orange last year. I guess that as a plant matures and gets acclimated, the coloring gets better.

My Fishbone has really taken off this summer. I did a few "pinchings" during the growing season. The 2nd image shows some great dark green colors contrasting with the sharp yellow lines. The third image shows a new leaf measuring 14.5 inches long. Another emergent leave (4th image) is measuring at 15 inches in length. :)
